华阳新材料科技集团有限公司前身为成立于1950年1月的原阳泉矿务局，是山西五大煤炭集团之一，是一个以煤炭开采和洗选为主业，煤化工、煤电铝为“两翼”，装备制造、建筑地产、金融、现代服务业“七大板块”协同发展的国有特大型企业集团。 

Yangquan Coal Industry (Group) Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Yangquan Coal Industry Group), formerly established in January 1950 as the Yangquan Mining Bureau, is one of the five major coal groups in Shanxi Province. It is a state-owned super-large-scale enterprise with a synergetic development of coal mining and washing as its main industry, coal chemical industry and coal electric aluminium as its “two wings”, equipment manufacturing, construction and real estate, finance and modern service industry as its “seven major plates”.

煤炭板块拥有煤矿48座，保有储量200亿吨，煤炭产能1亿吨，是中国最大的无烟煤生产基地。化工板块拥有27家分子公司、156套装置、987亿元资产、1580万吨产能，产业规模山西最大、全国第三。拥有农用化工、基础化工、精细化工、新型煤化工、化工新材料、化工装备制造等六大板块、80余种主要产品。

With 48 coal mines, 20 billion tons of reserves and 100 million tons of coal production capacity, the coal plate is the largest anthracite production base in China6. The chemical industry plate has 27 subsidiaries, 156 sets of devices, 98.7 billion yuan of assets and 15.8 million tons of production capacity, with an industrial scale ranking the 1st in Shanxi and the 3rd in the country. The group company possesses the agricultural chemical industry, basic chemical industry, fine chemical industry, new coal chemical industry, new chemical materials and chemical equipment manufacturing six major plates and more than 80 main products.

阳煤集团拥有国家“一五”期间“三大化工基地”之一的太化集团和齐鲁一化、正元集团等一批全国知名企业。铝电板块生产和建设电力装机容量600万千瓦，是山西三大铝工业基地之一。装备制造板块已经成立了“四个中心”。阳煤华越机械公司转变为装备制造“4S”中心，阳煤岩土公司转变为瓦斯地质研究应用中心，阳煤宏厦一建转变为矿建安装工程中心，选煤管理部转变为洗选中心，四个中心。化机规模位居全国前三位， “晋华炉”成为山西的“新名片”。建筑地产板块利用太化处于太原都市圈建设核心地带的地理优势，以上市公司为平台，将医疗、健康、养老产业与土地资源开发结合起来，实施太化“土地+”战略，培育医疗、健康、养老高端服务新业态。金融板块拥有阳泉煤业、阳煤化工、太化股份三个上市公司。现代物流借助国家京津冀地区散货运输“汽转铁”政策，利用阳泉地处华北咽喉、山西东大门的地理优势，与天津港务局、北京铁路局、百度公司合作共建“山西（阳泉）国际陆港集团”。

Yangquan Coal Industry Group has Taiyuan Chemical Industry Group which was one of the three chemical bases during the 1st Five-Year Plan period, and a number of well-known enterprises in China, such as Qilu No.1 Chemical Plant and Zhengyuan Group. With an installed capacity of 6 million kilowatts of the production and construction power, the aluminium electricity plate is one of the three major aluminium industrial bases in Shanxi. The equipment manufacturing plate has established “four centres”. Yangquan Coal Industry Huayue Machinery Company has been transformed into “4S” centre of equipment manufacturing, Yangquan Coal Industry Geotechnical Company has been transformed into the methane geology research and application centre, Yangquan Coal Industry Hongxia No.1 Construction Company has been transformed into the mine construction and installation engineering centre, the coal preparation management department has been transformed into the washing centre. The chemical machinery ranks among the top three in the country, and “Jinhualu” has become the new business card of Shanxi. Taking the advantage of Taiyuan Chemical Plant’s geographical advantages in the construction core area of Taiyuan metropolitan area, the construction and real estate plate combines medical, health and pension industries with land resources development on the platform of listed companies, implements Taiyuan Chemical Plant’s “land plus” strategy, and fosters new forms of high-end medical, health and pension services. The finance plate has three listed companies namely Yangquan Coal Industry, Yangquan Coal Chemical Industry and Taiyuan Chemical Stock Company. With the help of the “automobile-to-rail” policy of bulk cargo transportation in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and taking the advantage of the geographical advantages of Yangquan, which is located at the throat of North China and the east gate of Shanxi Province, the modern logistics cooperates with Tianjin Port Administration, Beijing Railway Administration and Baidu Company to build Shanxi (Yangquan) International Land Port Group.
